Took my bike and ventured on down to Little Tokyo this past weekend for the Nisei Week Festival.  From what I’ve heard, it wasn’t as big as prior years (ie. no tofu festival)…and the Mikoshi they had at the end of the parade was tiny in comparison to the one that was used when I volunteered a long time ago.

Wow, haven’t posted anything for over a month.  Lots of stuff going down in the past month…nothing worth mentioning though.  Let’s just say I’m back on track…and on that note – since summer is about to end, here’s a little tribute (taken during a bonfire at Dockwieler Beach:
